Nottingham based Julian Owen Associates have a lot of experience in helping our clients improve the energy efficiency of their homes through careful assessment and expert advice.

As energy costs are rising it is important to reduce heat loss and consumption of non-renewable energy sources such as gas and electricity. To assist with this Julian Owen Associates can carry out an energy efficiency assessment and a survey using a thermal imaging camera.

We offer:

    • Advice on the best ways to improve the insulation of your home.
    • A thermal image camera survey of the building to identify areas where there are gaps in the insulation leading to heat loss, cold spots and condensation.
    • A check of the energy efficiency of your home before and after building work.
    • Advice on the viable options for renewable energy including heat pumps and solar panels.

We had a very positive experience working with Julian Owen associates. Communication was clear throughout the process. Although our project was of a relatively small scale we still felt we were an important client. We particularly welcomed the support we received in linking with a builder and establishing a JCT homeowners contract.

Very happy clients! I am thrilled to have them drawing our house extension and renovation. Can very heartily recommend to anyone looking for a firm to take on a large project.

I want to thank Julian and the team for their excellent support for my home renovation. Their design solutions balanced functionality with aesthetics, making the most of our space while maintaining a seamless flow with the existing structure.

Thanks to their in-depth knowledge of regulations and efficient handling of permits, the planning process was smooth and stress-free. During the process, they maintained excellent communication, ensuring everything progressed as planned. Julian himself stepped in when needed, bringing his expertise and a personal touch that reassured us throughout the project.

I highly recommend Julian Owen Associates Architects to anyone considering a home project.

Great service from Julian and his team. The design was really great for both our internal and external works. We also used Julian for the tendering and builder selection process, which took a whole weight off our minds. The builders were excellent too.
