At Julian Owen Associates we are very proud that since the practice was founded in 1992 we have had the opportunity to work on over 2,500 projects throughout the East Midlands and across the UK. This experience is carried into our projects everyday.
Because of this we have had a long background of working with many local authorities at both a planning and building regulations level, as well as working with a many contractors during the site stage of projects. We also have good connections across the industrial world, with Julian releasing several books and featuring regularly in Build It Magazine sharing his know-how on various topics. Having founded the Association of Self Build Architects, Julian is also very involved the self build community and shares his experience with fellow architects and councils through his work with the Government’s Right to Build Task Force.
We have also had a lot of variety in the type of projects we have taken on. From working on new builds and extensions to larger commercial developments and community focused projects, we have gained a breadth of experience which we can apply to our future projects.
