New Houses - Replacement 1.5 Storey House

This property has been designed to replace an existing bungalow, that is uneconomic to repair due to serious structural defects.

The new design is predominantly arranged over the ground floor to make it more accessible for clients with deteriorating mobility, but additional guest accommodation in the roofspace. Sustainability is a key element of this Nottingham project, and the building is to be constructed from timber frame expressed internally. Although front street elevation is traditional in keeping with the neighbouring properties, the interior space and rear elevations are more modern with lots of glazing to provide views of the garden and hillside.
