New Houses - Rear of new house at Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

This self build house is built on a steep slope, which means that the house is entered on the middle floor. This floor provides the main living areas including the kitchen, living room, tv room and study. At the rear there is an extensive balcony, to take advantage of the dramatic views across the surrounding countryside. This is an upside-down house, because apart from the master bedroom on the top floor, there are also bedroom on the bottom level, allowing access to the garden.
