Domestic Extensions - Rear Extension and new garage to house in West Bridgford, Nottingham

This scheme works sympathetically with the original period dwelling to significantly improve the existing living accommodation. The rear extension unifies two small existing rear extensions to create a light and spacious kitchen / dayroom, including a feature glazed roof lantern and link through to the existing coach house, on a scale more in keeping with the existing main dwelling. Original features and detailing have been retained and reused wherever possible and new natural stonework window surrounds have been carefully crafted and installed to match the originals on the front of the property.

The existing coach house, previously used as a garage, has been carefully restored to its former glory. The flat roof extension and large garage door to the front is removed and a new double garage, located further up the driveway and carefully detailed to reflect the original coach house, compensates for the loss of parking spaces.
