The site is within an area of flood risk as identified by the Environment Agency. As a result the ground floor level has been raised up above the surroundings to help mitigate this risk. In order to keep the overall height of the buildings in keeping with the surrounding properties this scheme makes full use of the roof space to provide an additional master bedroom and ensuite.
